I'm Monika - Polish by passport, global by temperament.
I write things—essays, stories, captions that hit a little too close to home. I bind books by hand because I like when ideas take shape. I speak a few languages (mostly so I can be sarcastic across borders), and I cook the way I live: by instinct, by appetite, and never by the book.
I like movement that means something, music that doesn’t apologise, and storytelling in every form—messy, honest, deliberate. I don’t do performance, but I do presence. If I’m in, I’m in. No halfway.
Most of my work lives in quiet places—between paragraphs, in the backs of notebooks, or layered under songs you didn’t expect to love. The rest lives here.
